#Mark a Chat as Unread

#1. Feature Introduction

When you do not have time to handle a chat, you can mark the chat as unread so that it is easier to handle later.

• If you have already viewed the new messages in the chat, even if you mark the chat as unread, it will still show the message sender that you have read the message.

#2. Operation Process

#Desktop

Right-click the chat and select Mark as Unread.

#Mobile

Long press the chat in the message list and select Mark as Unread.

• If you need to cancel the unread mark, enter the chat or long press the chat and select Mark as Read.

#Q: What counts as a new message being read?

A: You need to tap to enter the chat and view the unread new message. Only viewing the new message preview or marking the message as read will not mark the message as read.
